Hello and a Warm Welcome!
I am so thrilled to be starting this home blog, and I hope that I am able to inspire, encourage and uplift each and every person who comes across my page!!
I want to state, first and foremost that any home can be made beautiful. Small or large, cape cod or split foyer.... All homes can be made unique, warm and special (.... Ooooooooh hold the phone!!!! I'm not forgetting you, apartments and condos!! You can have the coolest spaces of all!)
I find that it's so easy to become discontent with what we have, instead of making much of what God has given us! My hope for this blog is to encourage all of you to create a happy and comfortable home for your family! Our homes don't need to have the newest of the new decor...in fact, that's what makes thrifting and hand me downs so special!! You cannot replicate those one of a kind pieces in your home! They allow your home to tell a story, to show that imperfections can in fact be beautiful!
Shwoooooo anyways, I know I know, enough with the jibber jabber!!! I want to quickly share some photos of our home with you! Keep in mind, it's autumn right now so you will definitely see touches of fall! Our home is primarily made up of thrifted, antique and special hand me down family items! I will absolutely post where I got many of my decor and furniture items in future posts, but for now... Enjoy!
